On the evening of 25 February, members of Sydney St Andrew No.9 (SSA9), joined by welcomed visitors, gathered to witness a significant moment in the Chapter’s history — the enthronement of Illustrious Brother G. Fiestas as Most Wise Sovereign.
The ceremony unfolded with precision and a true reflection of the care and commitment invested in its preparation. It was well attended, the presence of so many Brethren adding warmth to the occasion. At the heart of the evening’s organisation stood Very Illustrious Brother L. Kearns, whose steady guidance and tireless efforts ensured it all ran smoothly.
Adding to the spirit of fellowship were distinguished visitors from JP Rizal Chapter, whose attendance strengthened the bonds between Chapters and highlighted the unity that lies at the core of our fraternity.
One of the evening’s most memorable moments came with an inspiring address by Eminent Brother P. Carton. Speaking on the importance of visitation and unity, he reminded all present that our Order flourishes not only through ritual and tradition, but through active engagement, mutual support, and shared purpose. His words resonated deeply and were warmly received by the assembled Brethren.
The formal proceedings gave way to a wonderful dinner, where laughter, conversation, and fraternal affection flowed freely. It was a fitting conclusion to a night marked by unity and renewed commitment.
