On the evening of 29th September 2025, the Waratah Grand Consistory gathered at the Artarmon Masonic Centre for a night of tradition, brotherhood, and celebration. In an a great atmosphere , the ceremonies of the 31st and 32nd Degrees were conducted with excellence.
Under the guidance of our Grand Commander in Chief, Em∴ Bro. A. Shaw 32°, four Illustrious Brethren were advanced to the rank of Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret (32°). The work was delivered with great precision, highlighted by a masterful presentation of the 32° T.B. Lecture by V∴ Ill∴ Bro. G. Piper 33°.
Following the adjournment, Em∴ Bro. J. Patey 32° opened the Sovereign Tribunal, during which four Illustrious Brethren were conferred with the rank of Grand Inspector Inquisitor Commander (31°). The overall ceremony and its delivery showed the skill and dedication of our members, each of whom upheld the high standards of our ceremonies with reverence and care.
When the ceremonial labors concluded, our Regional Grand Commander, M∴ Ill∴ Bro. D. De Candia 33°, addressed the assembly with an inspiring reflection on the significance of our degrees. He spoke on the importance of supporting our Grand Consistory and expressed great joy at seeing the chamber so full—with Members, 33° Brethren, District Commanders, and K∴C∴O∴M∴s all present in strong numbers.
The evening then gave way to a festive banquet, where fine food and drink were shared, and bonds of fraternity were deepened across the Consistory and the Rite. It was a night that beautifully reminded us of the principles we cherish, the traditions we uphold, and the enduring spirit of brotherly love that unites us all.
