Saint Luke & St Francis Chapters combined to hold a weekend of festivities and meetings in Grafton in support of the Installation of their new District Commander, Very Illustrious Bro Les Hicks for the newly formed NSW Northern Rivers District in Region 2.
The Saturday was a full day incorporating an 18th Chapter meeting, a Consistory Meeting, with two members of the District being elevated to the 31st and 32nd degrees & the Installation of their District Commander. The meetings were amply led by their Regional Commander, Very Powerful Bro Greg Goding and he was very well supported with other District Commanders in his Region and members of the City of Brisbane Sovereign Consistory No 1.
V Ill Bro Les Hicks, Past Worshipful Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of NSW, has been very much looking forward to officially stepping into his new role & has big plans for the District. His intentions including bringing more awareness to the Craft Lodges about the Rite, to help grow the membership and to work in his Chapters and Councils to ensure that the quality of the ritual is in line with the standards set out by his Regional Commander.
