Continuing on from the recent successful Day of Rite in Region 5, an occasional Consistory and Tribunal were held on 7th February at the Port Adelaide Masonic Hall for the purpose of holding the Higher Degrees to elevate those worthy members of the Rite. Two Illustrious Brothers were created Princes of the Royal Secret, and a further eight Grand Inspectors Inquisitor Commander. The chairs were ably filled by Em. Bro. Mann 32o OoM (District Recorder SA Flinders) and V. Ill. Bro Marcin Stankiewicz 33o (District Commander Elect SA Mawson) respectively. Those who received these honours were suitably impressed with the ceremonies presented to them and the teachings of each degree. These were followed by the installation of the new District Commander for SA Mawson in Port Adelaide Sovereign Chapter. Despite the warm day and last minute re-allocation of work, this was another successful day for the Rite in Region 5 thanks to the efforts of those organising and conducting the day.
